Martin Wilkinson Jewellers are a family business (a rare breed these days!) established in 1794 who have served the needs of the people of Mansfield since that date.
We are the oldest established jewellers in Mansfield, offering a friendly, personal, highly experienced professional service rarely available elsewhere. We sell a better quality item than many jewellers, including the more distinctive pieces, backed by an after sales service second to none.

Our History
Celebrating 100 years in business is quite a success in today’s age. To celebrate 200 years in business in Mansfield is a minor miracle and Martin Wilkinson Jewellers have every right to be justly proud of this achievement.
Established in 1794, during the 60 year reign of George III (1760-1820) Martin Wilkinson Jewellers have occupied four positions in Mansfield during this time, before moving to their current premises on Queen Street in 1974.
During our recent history Martin Wilkinson jewellers have survived 2 world wars. During the 1939-45 World war we serviced bomber command wrist watches, essential for accurate bombing raids over Germany, becoming the second highest rated workshop in the country.
The 1984 miners strike and subsequent collery closure programme also caused many problems, but we have emerged the progressive, modern business that welcomes you today.
